About
I am a coach, creator & lover of photography based in Virginia Beach
I love the process of designing projects from start to finish, and the gratification of seeing them come alive that building & creating brings. It is why I have gravitated towards web development & software engineering, focusing mostly on WordPress, Joomla and Craft CMS websites.
When I’m not making the interwebs, I can most likely be found on the lacrosse fields-of-dreams building mentally-tough people, teaching life lessons, and creating lifelong memories.
My experiences
- Curious Photographer1991 – Present
I started with my Dad’s hand-me-down 35mm Minolta, and I have not stopped. I like to think that I’ve gotten better over the years, but I do not care. I love taking photos and capturing the moments.
I gravitated to sports photography first, as I loved stop-motion and frozen action. As a college lacrosse player, I knew exactly what those frozen moments felt like in real life.
I also love being outside in nature and enjoy landscape photos very much. Living in Coastal Virginia, there is not a lack of natural beauty.
Living in coastal Virginia has fueled my passion for landscape photography in ways I could never have imagined. The ever-changing scenery, from the soft hues of sunrise casting a golden glow over the Chesapeake Bay to the dramatic, stormy skies that dance above the Atlantic Ocean, provides an endless array of subjects to capture through my lens.
Whether I’m wandering through the serene marshlands of the Eastern Shore or standing atop the dunes of Virginia Beach, I find solace and inspiration in the natural beauty that surrounds me. Each photograph I take serves as a testament to the captivating essence of this coastal region, where land and sea converge in a harmonious dance of light and color.
Through photography, I strive to convey the profound sense of awe and wonder that this breathtaking landscape evokes within me, inviting others to experience the magic of coastal Virginia through my eyes.
Come Visit

The bayside First Landing State Park marks the 1607 arrival of the Jamestown colonists from England. The Virginia Aquarium & Marine Science Center exhibits ocean life, including sharks, rays, and sea turtles, in globally themed habitats.
