In solitude, I find a wondrous peace,
A time to breathe and let my mind unwind,
No need to talk, no need to seek release,
Just me, my thoughts, and what I hope to find.
The world outside can be so loud and bright,
But in my solitude, I find a calm,
A chance to revel in the starry night,
And listen to the rhythm of my psalm.
I relish in the quiet of my space,
And revel in the freedom that it brings,
No need to keep up with a frantic pace,
Or listen to the noise that chaos sings.
Oh, sweet solitude, how I treasure thee,
A time to be alone, and truly free.
