Poetry

This is where I write plainly and honestly.

Some of these poems come directly from my life — fatherhood, regret, growth, discipline, faith, resilience. Others are reflections on moments most people move past too quickly. Poetry gives me a way to slow down and put language to what matters.

Not everything here was written by me. Some poems are written by other poets and shared here because their words deserve to be read, revisited, and respected. When I share someone else’s work, it’s intentional. Their voice shaped me in some way, and I think it’s worth passing along.

I have deep respect for the craft and for the poets who take it seriously — their clarity, restraint, and willingness to tell the truth influence how I approach my own writing. I don’t aim to imitate them, but I do aim to meet a standard of honesty.

This collection reflects both gratitude and growth. Some pieces are mine. Some belong to others. All of them are here because the words matter.
