Did you ever think someone could show you love through a bologna sandwich? I didn’t think so either. Until I found out that I (a poor, broke, college student at the time) spent close to nine months eating bologna sandwiches every day to cut down my grocery budget to $10 a week, just so I could save up enough money to buy my loving ex-wife-to-be an engagement ring.

Habits of Highly Grateful People

I’m terrible at gratitude. How bad am I? I’m so bad at gratitude that most days, I don’t notice the sunlight on the leaves of the maple trees as I walk to the mailbox to get the mail. I forget to be thankful for the Walmart lady who greets you when you enter, and checks your bag when you leave. I’ve been there a thousand times and I don’t even know her name!
